Blackout, Boycott and Buycott!

Even though our giving circle is dedicated to supporting state legislative races, being in this community allows us the chance to take action wherever possible.

The People’s Union movement have organised an economic blackout for Friday February 28. This movement aims to highlight damaging executive orders of the current administration and exploitative practices by corporate businesses that cause harm to the economy and the American people.

We want to encourage you to take part with us by not making a purchase with any major brand retailer, or service provider for 24 hours, in store and online. More details can be found on The People’s Union’s website and this article

As you can see from the list, only necessary purchasing should be made at small and local businesses, but we want to further this opportunity by encouraging you to research and support small, specialist retailers and services.
